Zara English Janmohamed is the Managing Partner of Loftus Bradford and the driving force behind the firm’s focus on delighting our customers and never ever ever giving up. Her modus operandi combines deep client relationships, high-impact delivery and inclusive leadership, Zara combines strategic rigour with what she calls “unreasonable hospitality”—a commitment to going above and beyond in every search, for every stakeholder.

Born and raised in Kenya, educated in the UK and now based in Barcelona, Zara brings a global perspective that is woven into her approach to talent. She joined Loftus Bradford in 2011 as its second employee and has progressed through every stage of the business, from researcher to consultant, to building the team. She then became the first Partner at Loftus Bradford (when coming back from her first parental leave). In early 2024, she was appointed as Managing Partner taking the role of leading the firm through a transformation of the business and into the next stage on their growth journey, whilst ensuring we maintain the Founders spirit and what has made us a unique search firm with a different way of doing business.

Zara has led some of the firm’s most high-profile assignments, placing C-level and senior executives across FTSE 100 companies, founder-led scale-ups and privately held global brands. Her search portfolio spans CFO, CMO, CCO, CPO and General Management placements across EMEA, APAC and North America. A passionate advocate for diversity of thought in leadership, Zara is committed to building a network of top leaders globally who can bring a significant business and leadership impact to our clients organizations.

In addition to her relationship building with our clients and driving the growth of the firm, Zara is highly focussed on leading our teams and key leaders in the organization. She is passionate about coaching, mentoring and enabling the team to thrive, grow and develop under her leadership.
